Well, here we are, just a little late. But I thought you might enjoy seeing the girls on the first day of school. They have the besst teachers and are absolutely loving school! Emalee's teacher's name is Mrs. Crabb and Kealyn's is Mrs. Hicks. They are both wonderful!
The Friday before school started, Kealyn got a special phone call...It was Mrs. Hicks telling her how excited she was to start a new year. She asked Kealyn what her favorite things to do were, her favorite subjects and before Kealyn said goodbye she told Mrs. Hicks "It's nice to meet you". It was absolutely precious!
Here is Emalee with her good friend Taylor Burnett. They have such a great time together. Taylor is absolutely precious and funny too! She and Emalee made up a song for their class at dismissal time! They are too cute!
Kealyn went right in to class, but mommy had a hard time! I think Mrs. Hicks could tell! She told Kealyn "Give your mommy a hug..she needs to start her day and we need to start ours". That's one way to get me to leave I guess! Kealyn came over and gave me quite a lengthy hug...She told me after school that she just cried for a minute after I left! She's just a baby!!!
